Hi, my mother is canadian, I was born in Italy. After translating all the documents we sent the application through COSTI Canada. My application arrived on August 28, 2014. They started processing it on September 26, 2014. Although the average processing time is around 5 months a citizenship certificate was sent to me on May 25, 2015 after a total of 8 months. Government of Canada didn't require additional documents.
