Hello everyone,
I am from India and My Profile as it stands is as follows:
1. 10th: 95%
2. 12th: 91%
3. Btech: 9.12 CGPA ( i am currently enrolled in 5th semester )
4. I have done work from home internships( 3 to be exact) and i am adequately good at programming.
5. I have a research paper published in IJATES .
6. Currently i am preparing for GRE

I am really tensed at the moment regarding masters in Canada . First of all i am confused for what specialization should i go for and second is my profile good enough to secure a seat since i won't have experience when i will apply for the same. Now i really need some guidance from those who have got admit in Universities like SFU which i am aiming for . Also University if Waterloo is something i dream of.
I hope someone can understand my stress and reply with a positive response.
Thank you for reading the compendium of my Stress lol

You need to directly speak with Uni and learn about their requirements.

Do you think it will be right to contact them right now when i am in 5th semester. I am just scared a bit about everything. I wanted someone to assess my profile critically.

Universities most likely won't assess your profile. They will direct you to their web site that lists the program requirements.

1. The OP should note that SFU is not admitting any further foreign students for the January semester as they have already have 20% of the student body as foreign students for that semester.

I am aware of this fact , but i am just asking considering my profile .what other things should i do to improve the profile and as it stands is my profile good enough for waterloo SFU[/QUOTE]

If you are not particular about the universities you have an above average chance of studying in Canada. Things that you should do is, collect the detailed syllabi of the courses you have attended. Contact the international education officer for admission details and program advisors for knowing chances of credit transfers. If not for Doctoral degrees, profiles don't matter. If you find time, try to find out about educational environment in Canada before planning for the venture. Best wishes.
