Hello guys.

I was reading about the EE process and found that someone says the professional experience counts only after getting your degree. Is that true?

In my country you don't get your degree just after finishing college, I mean, you can get it right away but not necessarily. I graduated from college in December 2009 but I'm getting my bachelor's this month. I've got professional experience in my field since I started working back in 2010 so now I'm wondering whether or not they will take in consideration the experience earned after finishing college but before getting my degree.

Any help is fully appreciated.

Regards,

"Getting your degree" can mean the date you finish your program/degree which is shown on your official transcript, not the date you receive the piece of paper.

For Canadian experience, it also means your work experience will be recognized only after you are no longer a fulltime student in your program and in the process of applying for the PGWP.
