Hi there, initially I submitted my APR right at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020. As visa centres and medical offices were closing because of COVID, I was able to submit it as it was. Later in December 2020 I provided my biometrics, in May 2021 passed the medical exam. It has been slightly over 4 months since my application became complete, all dues paid. Nothing else happened, no new notifications from IRCC so far.
Has anyone been in a similar situation to mine? Any thoughts on when I will see further changes in regard to my application? I wonder if my APR is considered “old” (of March 2020), which could place it higher on their priority list for processing, or they will count is as “submitted” based on the date it became fully complete (May 2021) and proceed with it only when they clear the backlog of applications submitted before May 2021.
I also wonder if they still pay attention to such overseas EE FSW applications while processing the majority of other CEC applicants they are now focused on. I would appreciate your comments, guys!
