processing time

hi all
my hubby application on ecas is saying
we have started processing your application on jan 14 2010 . this is at the jamaican office.
it has not stated that they have received medical or anything else.
could you say how long jamaica normally take and why ecas is not updating.

Its lonely from the Jamaica thread ;D

Anyways the ting with Jamaica and ecas is quite simple ...I went through 14 months of processing with them ....The only time they Updated ecas was when they started to process .....It remained the same for the next 12-13 months, until our passport was requested and then askedto pick up with visa in it

Today when i logged on to ecas it was changed to

Meds recieved and decieion made....So yes its normal notto have any UPDATES on ecas ...Just how that office operates ...It so frustrating at times ...

My sister just got through and it took her 14months from the time the papers were forward to jamaica
