I applied 27 months ago to the Federal Residency and I am still waiting for an answer from the Embassy. Does any one know how is the turnaround these days??? What should I expect??

You are being process under old rules and i read many people got PR after 3-5 years under old rules. So be patient, otherwise, you may withdraw old application and apply under new ruling?

You can see if 27 months is getting close or not. If you are from one of the countries where the processing time is much longer, you may want to check if you qualify to apply under the new rules. You do not have to withdraw your old application to apply with the new.
