Hi guys, so I'm going to try and go for my interview this coming Friday (I say try because I'm going to try and go for the 'unscheduled appointment' I'v been told I could go for.)

I am planning on going back to the UK in late July for my father's 60th birthday (not seen him for a year and a half because of various reasons including this application). If I get everything confirmed on Friday 24th May, could I expect to have my PR card by mid July?

My CoPR is good until December apparently, so If I can't expect to get my PR card in the mail in time, it may be worth holding off until after my vacation (that I haven't booked yet) so I still have a valid document, as I am not expecting to go anywhere after July and will have all the time I need.

I'd love if I could get it before July however as it'd mean the stress is over, but I've seen mixed things about the time it takes. 6 weeks would be fine as that'd place it in mid July, but it's still cutting it fine.

How long does it take on average to go from having your inland landing interview to actually getting the card in the mail?

Hope this makes sense,

Thanks!

PR Card processing times are usually pretty accurate and right now say 13 days.
