Hi Seniors,

Myself and my wife got our CEC application approved in November 2014 and we have to land by mid September 2015,
but my wife is 3rd month Pregnant now and her due is Aug 2015, we are thinking to land in April 2015 and come back after couple of weeks as we don't have much support in Canada to help us for delivery, but at same time I worried if child born in India it will be hassle to get sponsorship as I have leave family for long time and be Canada till sponsorship completes.

I didn't find much help regarding child sponsorship procedure and time line. Can some please share their experience.

Thanks in advance

1. Sponsorship of an infant is reasonably quick as there is a minimal medical, no security, no PCC required.
2. You can apply for a TRV or TRP for the child if the TRV is denied.
3. If you don't get either, then one parent is going to have to return to Canada and sponsor the child.
