Hi everyone, I had my pr application transferred from Buffalo to Seattle, who have asked me to do my medicals and submit updated documents, which I have done. They also requested me to pay the RPRF fee of $ 490 in US or Canadian currency to be paid out by a US or Canadian bank, but the thing is that I am overseas in my home country completing my studies, and I cannot travel to the US or Canada just to process a money order or bank draft at a bank there. I do have a friend in Canada, and I wonder if he could pay it on my behalf and then forward the proof of payment to their office ? Also, I am concerned about the return of my passport to me, if I get to the stage where I must submkit my passport to the consulate. They seem to send me mail through regular surface mail which is not the safest and also takes almost 2 months to get to me. Can I request that it be sent to my friend in Canada, who can then safely courier to me ? If I did make my friend my beneficiary, would he have powers which would allow him to help me with the above ? Thanks

well i think ur concerns are strange :S. you can always pay ur fee by making a draft through a money exchanger whose drafts are valid in Canada.
i think they use regular mail but then its registered mail. if u hv recieved ur medical through post..then consider it safe cz medical is the only must mail wch shd reach u through post. if u get through nd make it to Pass Port request..it might reach u through email if u hv provided nd preferred emails in ur application. if u are gonna update ur adress of ur frndz i think it ll cz delays for u.u r worrying too much, but still its ur choice.
I hope it helps.
