Good day to all!
I am a filipina, residing in Mindanao, Philippines and married to a Canadian 6 years ago. At the 1st 2 years of our marriage, we did our best to let the marriage work despite long distance relationship since he is working in Canada. He was single but has 2 children before we get married and I have no problem with that. I filed a Spousal visa twice and was denied twice also due to his taxes that he's not capable of sponsoring me since he stopped and changed work from time to time. I found out from his mom that he sleeps with other women while in Canada and he admitted it. We agreed to end the relationship but my problem is our marriage is still valid here in my country. I want to be free again legally and wanted to start this annulment. Anyone can help me on how to start the process?
P.S. I have no communication with him for the last 4 years, we have no kids....

Please help me on this especially to those who experienced the same situation I had....
Thanks!!

There is a rather large thread that talks all about this..

If you said the problem is the marriage is still valid in your country, why don't you just ask your country's authorities on how to annul the marriage?

I read somewhere that if the Filipina/Filipino married to a foreigner and want to end the relationship, the foreign husband/wife can divorce the spouse and it is valid in the Philippines since he/she is not a Filipino/Filipina.
