Process time to join my canadian husband in Canada

I just join this forum and I'm wondering if anyone can answer my question.

I'm Lebanese and my husband is canadian living in Canada. And I'm currently in Beirut.

In October we received an approval for the sponsorship from Canada.

and now the Immigration file is in process in the canadian embassy in Damascus since November 2.

Can anyone have an idea how much will take this process? In other words how much should I wait to get the PR and join my husband in Canada? In general the whole process takes how many months?

From your post, I assumed that this is an outland spousal PR application.

May I ask one more question?

Do you know if I can wait for the PR in Canada? The Embassy can give me a "tourist"/"visitor" visa meanwhile?

If you can get to Canada you can wait for PR.
You can apply for a TRV, but in this sort of situation, it is common that the visitors visa (TRV) is denied.
