Hi Everyone,

I am planning to migrate to quebec. I am not sure about the process. I am software engineer having 5+ years of experience. I am in express entry pool with CRS 374. With this score there is less chance to get invite.

Hence, I am looking for an advice to migrate to Quebec. Can someone please guide? Also I want to know about the current treads like wait time etc.

Thanks,

try another province...Quebec is lengthy process...

You can evaluate your chances to immigrate to Quebec with a tool http://www.form.services.micc.gouv.qc.ca/epi/index.jsp?languageCode=en

At the moment the regular skilled worker program takes approximately 6 months for Quebec Selection Certificate + 14 months for Federal process of permanent residency if you are a Canada inland applicant. Outland applicants seem to be experiencing longer wait times.

If I was you, I would exhaustively explore other provinces as primary option and see if there is any way to increase points...

hi mate, 6 months to get CSQ?
totally false, it depends on your country, even with priority it is taking more than one year.

Even Cap excempts is taking around one year

OK, thanks for the correction! I personally don't know any Canada inland applicant that had to wait 1 year for CSQ, for all of them it was around 6 months. That's why I wrote that outland applicants seem to be waiting longer, apparently even 5 years is not impossible.
