I am currently working in TEXAS, US on H1B. My H1B six year validity will expire soon. There is very rare change of GC processing from my employer side. So according to my opinion, the Canada PR is an alternate and safer option. I want to clarify the following queries.

1. Can an H1B employee staying in US can apply for Canada PR?
2. What is the probability of getting a Canada PR?
3. How long normally it will take for getting the PR?
4. What are eligibility criteria for getting PR?
5. Is it necessary to have a job offer in Canada to apply for PR?

I need the answers from experts. Please clarify my doubts. Thank you.

1. Yes.
2. As long as you get an ITA and provide all docs. Very high.
3. 3-12 months.
4. google Express Entry, its not 2 steps system, but pretty easy.
5. No, if you score more than 450 points via express entry - you may get through without ANY sponsorship (state/employer)

I would say first of all calculate your CRS here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Good luck
