Go to any Passport office with your original passport. There will be agents waiting for you outside to render services.
Tell them you need to get PCC..They will fill up some online forms and will book a slot for you to collect the PCC from the nearest Passport seva kendra from your place at your convinient time and date..Present there during the time in person with the orginal passport and they will charge you Rs.500 at the Passport seva office.

For me, the entire process took only 2 days...Enjoy...

If your passport was issued recently in last few years (having a bar code on the last page), then its very quick and easy process.. just visit passpostindia.gov.in website and make your account (its free) and then inside it.. fill the form for PCC, and take a print of the form and visit nearest Passpost Sewa Kendra next day (dnt go on same day), better you reach there around 9 AM and then you will be done in 30-50 minutes.

No need to pay Money to agents for the things you can do by yourself, after all you a skilled worker class, you can do this much online work by yourself.
