When filling in some of the IMM series of forms, I have found that I can only edit them once. If I save them and try to update them later, they won't load properly. The forms with Validate don't fail but some of the others do. Anyone else seen this or/and have a solution? We have to start each broken form from the beginning every time we want to fix an error or add new information.

Yeah, I noticed that about my forms as well but I just had to retype it and print it immediately, especially the sponsor questionnaires. I dunno if there is a solution to that. Hopefully, someone here has also experienced a similar situation

This annoyed me also doing the apps. Most of them you can edit as you want, it's just a few that CIC decided they want super security on it so lock you out after your first attempt.

Apparently if you have Adobe Acrobat PRO, you can do multiple edits on every single doc.

That implies that it's Adobe Reader that's broke, and not the forms. Maybe there is a newer version that I can try. Very useful information.

No, its the forms. Adobe works fine on almost all of them (at least it did for me). It's just a few select forms that have this extra security built it. If it was Adobe's fault... then no form would be able to be re-edited.

I'm not sure if PRO version works, just something that's been mentioned on here as a way to get around extra CIC security.

Hi all
I faced the same issue in the begining last year. Get the Adobe Acrobat Pro then you will have problems no more!

Take care

Isn't it very expensive? I will investigate this as a possibility. Thanks to all.

They offer a free trial version of PRO (probably let you use for a limited time then force you to pay). As long as they give you a week or so... should be long enough to do the forms.
