I have two questions.

1. I'm going to submit my application online. I filled up all information already, but I'm not sure about how to sign the paper between:
- Print them out - sign them - scan them back - upload. (I think this ways is a little weird because I am going to apply online, so why do I have to print them out and sign by hand again?)
- Insert an electronic signature. This way is said in the direction, but I do not know what to do. I researched on internet, and some websites said I will have to sign my name on a clear paper, scan it, and process something in order to exporting the signature for inserting on my paper.
- One of my friend to applied before said, I can leave them blank for now. Then, when I submit everything (without any signature), there will be a box for me to just "type" my name on them to certify that every detail is true.


2. Next Question, anyone has the same problem?
I tried to upload a file (the family information one), the website refused my file, and it said I upload the wrong type of file. But!!!! This paper, I downloaded it from their website, filled it, and saved it without changing the type of the file. I do not know how could it happen, and how to solve it? Maybe I will have to print it out and scan it back?? ??? ??? ???
 
Hi if you are submitting an application online, your friend was right there is a part at the end in which there was a check box to agree declaration and a place to type your name in another box to serve as your signature (that's why its online application.lol) and that is all you need. no scanning etc.

Secondly, you can press save as and choose what kind of file you want it to be. I always just make them a PDF (The one that you don't need to edit)

To change the kind of my file, I tried to do as you suggested earlier, but it didn't work. There is no other type to pick. I couldn't even export my file to .doc or .docx. ???
 
I am curious what is the file showing up at the moment? and is it one of the forms that is downloaded from the CIC?
kind of weird. lol
Maybe you just need to download it again and fill it up again and save.
might be easier than us thinkin of crazy ideas to fix it.LOL.

Sorry for late response even though there is nothing important about this topic anymore.

I just want to write it in case of someone find this topic and is looking for any more solutions.

1. As marsiangal said, I can just typed my name on after I submit all my paper to agree declaration. No need to worry about it at all.

2. About the probleb when I submit my documents. I think it was because of my own laptop. I don't know exactly why, but finally, after I changed to another computer, it worked well!! :) (I tried to download a new one, filled in again, saved, but it didn't ver work.)
