Problem with receipts

So I've just paid for my $1040 application and $255 OWP, and on both of the receipts, there's no space to fill out any information. I've seen pictures of other peoples receipts and mine looks nothing like it. There's a big barcode at the top, and a few rows of information (including my name, not my sponsor's), and nothing else. No space to fill out info.
Did I do something wrong?

No, that sounds right. The receipt won't have a much about the actual application on it, but when you include a copy of the receipt they'll match that payment to your application. You can also look up the application on ecas by your receipt number once it's entered.

I thought the receipts were supposed to have blank sections for you to fill out?

Nope, they should just show the amount, what payment source you used, name of payee, etc.

Nothing needs to be added to it, as it's just confirmation of your payment online.

Huh, OK. I've seen countless posts on here about people having to fill out their receipts. I guess they changed them.

Does it matter if the receipts give no indication that it was for the common-law application? I assume the barcode will have that info?

Maybe! I've done the process twice now and I've always had the same receipts, but maybe there's a different type for some other payment type or something.
