problem with marriage certificate issue date

Hi,

I was married in 2009 in India and my husband traveled to Canada in January 2014. We didn't registered our marriage and now i wanted to apply for marriage certificate. Is it going to create any problem when i go to visa interview with current marriage certificate issued date. because my husband is not in India when our marriage certificate is issued.

Hello Asha,

I am not sure if you can even get a marriage certificate without your husband's presence in India.

Did you check with the authorities if they will issue you a marriage certificate without your husband's physical presence.

Hi, It is impossible to issue a marriage certificate without presence of your husband. I had been in the same situation when I was in canada and I could not get that. I went back india and then we got our marriage certificate in front of registar with 5 witnesses.
