i believe if he is a PR now, then he is okay. What do others think?

yes he got his PR card ..and he is working now..but the question still there ..he is safe after the Divorce?

He is safe from deportation due to the divorce as per my understanding. I am no expert.

He is a PR and there is no way divorce will affect his status he is good.He just needs to wait 3 years or so and file for his citizenship.

The divorce won't afftect his PR and there is no reason he can be deported. He is going to be fine so take a chill pill and leave your worries :)

i hv someone known, they guy came to india married an indian girl. went to canada. after few months they seprated, then divorced within few months, living separatly peacfully without ant problem to their immigration status (guy is now Citizen and girl is PR)

When a family applies for PR together, the main applicant is only important when they land. The main applicant has to land either before or with the others. After they land, there is no main applicant anymore, they are all equally PR. Divorcing his wife will have absolutely no effect on his PR.
