I migrated to Canada August 2009 without my son. I was sponsored with my eldest sister under family class.. It took us (my mom, brother, and I) 5 years before they issued our visa.. I got pregnant june 2007, embassy asked for additional family background info on november 2008, on the form IMM 5406 Section B, I have my son's name written down which means I did declared that I do have a child. I filed my son's sponsorship on 2011 and embassy send me a couple of letters saying that I am not eligible to sponsor my son anymore because i did not declare him before entering Canada. The issue here is I didn't do a medical for my son before I enter Canada because I wasn't aware that he has to undergo a medical even though he's not coming with me at that time. The papers still on process but haven't heard anything yet! I don't know what to do next. Kindly advice!

Thanks!

You appear to have "mentioned" the child but did not actually add him as a dependent on your application. This means that he was not examined and that a) You have caused a misrepresentation in your application and b) You are barred from ever sponsoring him as a member of the family class. The embassy is probably expecting a response from you. However, the application seems to have been refused.
At the very least, you now need to see an immigration lawyer.

Time to lawyer up. Writing his name down doesn't mean declaring in CIC's eyes.

Because you landed as a 'single' immigrant with no dependents you have essentially barred yourself from ever being able to sponsor your son as a member of the family class. When you landed with the rest of your family, they would've asked you if there were any members not listed here to declare now? If you answered no, and your son was not listed as a non accompanying dependent then you are indeed going to be refused. I have no idea if a lawyer of any sort is going to be able to help you out of this one. I understand your mother may have been the one to answer all these questions as you would've been her dependent but alas he was still not mentioned.

Thank you for taking the time reading and giving me some advice. I had no idea that this was going to happen. I didn't do a medical for my son because they did not send me a request form to go to medical practitioner. You cant go to any medical practitioner and say that you need a medical but you don't have request form. If worst comes to worst, i will save money and go back to my country to live with my son. He shouldn't be suffering from this. At the port of entry officer asked me some questions but not regarding with my son. I wouldn't lie if He ask me at that time. Is there a lawyer that you guys can recommend? I appreciate all your answers and suggestions!

Thanks a lot!
