Does anybody has problem opening some of the Forms from the Sponsorship Application package in the CIC's website?

It seems I can open most Forms without problems and fill out the Forms online and then print them out, but some Forms (like IMM 0008) does not open but instead goes to this page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf

I have updated Acrobat Reader (I have version 10.1.7) but it stills does the same thing.

Not sure if it's the same issue but i have a problem with a few of the forms due to the display resolution of my monitor that I was viewing it on. Try up your resolution and see if that fixes it,

Use this program instead: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/

It's much better than Adobe for doing the CIC forms.

I had the same issue with some of the forms, even with the newest version of Acrobat.

I used my husbands laptop which was older than mine and it worked.

And also found if I just saved the file anyways...even with the error message, it would then let me open the file with no problems, it was just viewing it in the Internet Browser that didn't work.

Good luck!

One would think, CIC would be aware of this situation and add some kind of notice by the side.

+1!

My wife and I used that for our application. It was much more reliable for filling out the PDFs on the computer.

We had the same problem with the updated forms, but then realized there's a button in the URL address field for opening the file with adobe reader -- fixed the problem immediately. This was using google chrome's browser.
