Problem in understanding letters and numbers in Listening section

Hi all,
Sometimes I have a problem in understanding letters while spelling like a family name F R A I ..........
and numbers when it's saying long number and too much fast
how Can I get rid of this kind of problem ?

You need to keep practising. Try listening some dictation exercises and real world conversation. There is no magic trick or shortcut

and one another things that really bother me is understanding 15% or 50% in a fast speech or talking

15 and 50 has different stress syllable.

15 has the second part stressed fifTEEN
50 has the first part stressed FIFty

And with 50, we can hear the sound "d" as it is pronounced FIFdy in american accent. While with 15, we don't hear the "d" but only the "t" in TEEN.

No, it is actually not that hard to build the habit of saying "d" instead of "t" if you practice and listen to american english everyday. Good luck.

The only problem with IELTS is it is not limited to American English.
It caters to wide range and if not used to different english accents, it will throw the test taker out of comfort zone.
