Problem in name

HI,i am in a dilemma. My Passport shows the name as "NISHANT" and my educational documents also show the same name. However , my birth certificate , and birth certificate of my son ( Father name) show the name as "NISHANT ARORA". I am planning to apply for immigration under FSW and education assessment is under process with WES. As per the passport i have to show my name as "NISHANT" but if submit other documents and my son's birth certificate/passport , it will show my name as "NISHANT ARORA". Is it going to create a problem. Please help

I have a similar issue as yours. In all my documents my first and last name is the same apart from the Birth Certificate.

There is just ONE alphabet that's missing from my first name in my BC.

So i prepared a SWORN AFFIDAVIT stating that both person are the same. This is not a long term fix but is the quickest option.

I have been told by one of the forum members that this has proven to work in the past and the Application was accepted.

The Format varies with where you are getting it done from.

I am not based in India and i got it done from my local Consulate so mine was a little different.

i had the same problem. i got the birth certificate reissued with the same format as in my passport.

the same with the last name on my marriage certificate too..

thumb rule.. keep the passport name as is, it is easier to get the other documents corrected.

thank you.....i will try to get the BC corrected...if not done...will go for a sworn affidavit.....
