My condolences to you and your family. May her soul rest in perfect peace ♥️
I recently got my study permit too after having to defer up to three times due to unforeseen circumstances.
What I learned through asking questions is that what matters at the point of entry into Canada is the introduction letter they sent and your most recent letter of acceptance. The Canadian embassy is aware that their processing time is kinda long so they ‘expect’ international student typically to defer because of that. This is why you the introduction letter they send you (the one you present to the Canadian border agents in order to get your official study permit) doesnt have any university resumption date written on it.
My advice now will be to send urgent mails to your uni requesting and updated acceptance letter. If they don't reply on time, at least print out evidence of them accepting your deferral and emails. That, along side your moms certificate and any acceptance letter they've issued to you to should be enough for the border agents.
My kindest regards to your family ♥️
Also, where are you from? And province will you be studying in? I'm Nigerian and I'll be in British Columbia :)

Im from Nigeria too, studying in carleton university , like i am really confused now , can i have your digit so you can explain better please or should i drop mine pls ?

Okay drop yours

Hello, I was given admission for winter late last year which made me differ my admission to Spring/Summer. Due to some circumstances I submitted my application to the Canadian embassy on the 21st of march 2019, please will it be okay if I resume late for the spring/summer or is it possible for me to differ my admission after submitting my application with the spring/summer admission letter.

Am a Nigerian and was given admission into university of Ottawa for my masters degree programme. I will want everyone to comment on this please

Please my resumption date is January 9 and my travel date is January 14 hope I won’t have issues at the point of entry
