I am open to suggestions as to where to get health insurance for me and my family in Abu Dhabi. We leave on July 20th.

no idea in your area, but you can always take travel insurance with-in 5 days of lending in canada... just FYI

I took insurance on line from Middle East before landing from :

http://pucherinsurance.com/

If you have time you can get it online from Abu Dhabi.Otherwise you can do it after landing also. I would suggest take a minimum policy if everybody are with normal health.
