Hello,

I am currently in the process of finalizing my application for sponsoring my spouse to Canada.

Unfortunately, we just discovered that the IMM forms have been updated on October 2017. The forms that my wife had printed out and signed are from June 2017. Since my wife resides in Asia, does anyone know if we would need to reprint and sign the updated forms again for the October 2017 and have her mail it to me? Or would there be an easier way to avoid this hassle.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

While there may be some leeway/grace period whare CIC accept the old forms there is no note of this anywhere. So you would be taking a chance.

It would cause a substantial delay if they returned your app for the forms being out of date so probably worth taking the extra week or so now and having the new forms signed and sent to you by your wife.

Thanks for the quick response. I think I will go with your advise and have my wife send me the updated forms.

Thanks again :)
