Hi,

I'm sponsoring my wife who has been a flight attendant for a while. Our file is set to go in this week however due to personal reasons she resigned as a crew member for her airline.

She will be getting another job soon.

This is an Outland application.

Do you think the personal history should be updated in the file to reflect the resignation of the job which now would show unemployed? Or after stage 1 when I'm approved As a sponsor we update our file providing the new employment details and proof once we get the file/uci number?

Is it a big deal if the sponsored person (principal applicant) is unemployed?

I wouldn't think it is since I'm the one signing the agreement to take care of her.

The only thing is with our file her job was highlighted as something that Enabled us to travel so much because of the cheap flights you are entitled to when working for an airline.

Any thoughts and comments much appreciated!

Thanks :)
