hello everyone!

I am here for the first time, i hope you guys can answer my querries?
1. I am in cad on owp and working as a case manager. I will be applying for my PR in CEC in sep. now my husband is in Pakistan. How will that work.
2 . Where will the application process takes place? As i am inland. In cad or Abudhabi?
3 . I already applied for his trv four times which were rejected, will this have an inpact on PR?
4. If i add him in my application will processing time will affect as he-is outland.

I really appreciate your help. As i am very confused what to do. Should i do my pr first and sponser him or include him in my application.

1- Canada
2- Probably in Canada since you are here
3- shouldn't be a problem, just do not lie about it on the application
4- there is no prediction about processing time, there are plenty who have applied as being inland and their family/spouse being outland. it will happen. the general processing time is 6 months but nowadays all applications are delayed.
Also, you can have both options. you can also apply for your application and then him or apply together. good luck :)

Hi,
I have heard that for inland the spouse should also be in canada. Now i am in canada and he is back home.
If you guys have any experiences kindly share.

1. Same as any other app.

2. Both.

3. No, as long as all refusals are declared.

4. You do not get to choose whether to add him or not. You can have him as accompanying or non-accompanying but either way, you must fully include him in the application. He still goes through the exact same process but if non-accompanying, he doesn't become a PR. You would then need to sponsor him, which is another year apart, as he can't come to Canada with 4 TRV refusals and you must live here to qualify to sponsor him.

The answer doesn't change. You can apply from Canada when he is outside of Canada.

So that means that i should add him in my application at my time? What do you suggest.
My application will be onland or outland. That is still not clear. Because I have jeard that both the applicant and spouse should b in canada if applying inland. Please clarify

Again, you have NO CHOICE about adding him to your application. You are legally required to include him.

The app will be processed here and all final formalities for your husband would be processed at the outland VO.

the member stated it clearly. do you need to add him in the application. you will be called inland. your spouse can be outland at time of application which is okay

Thank God . I found someone in similar situation. I applied from Inland since I m in OWP and my husband is in India. I included him in my application stating that he will be accompanying me. The Biometrics for him was processed in Indian VFS. Now I received a PPR stating that I should submit my passport with my family member accompanying me. I don’t know what to do. I am really confused

you have to submit passports for yourself and the spouse to get it stamped

make a new threat and ask this question to experts. I think you have to manage and bring his passport and submit here.
@canuck_in_uk can you please help?

Hi everyone! I plan to move to Canada in September and apply for the inland spousal sponsorship. I have some queations, if anyone can help me, thanks a lot!

1) Is it true that if I apply inland I can´t travel anywhere outside Canada during the process? I read this things a while ago, but an immigration lawyer told me that´s not correct, she said it´s better just to wait for the OWP (open work permit) to be aproved.

2)When getting my OWP, my 5 years old daughter can go to the publis school?

3) Staying and applying in Canada, I should renew my tourist visa until my PR is ready, is that correct? How many months before expiring the tourist visa I should begin the application to renew a new one?

Thanks so much!
