primary and secondary education

primary education is from grade 1 till grade 8th

and

secondary education is from grade 9th till grade 12th.

Where are you from? i never listen before High School 10-12, after 10 usually counts in Higher Secondary or we can say college education, not school education. Maybe its defferent in your country....

Educational classification in INDIA:

Primary education/primary school = 1 to 7 class
Secondary education/high school = 8 to 12 class
University and college = anything after 12.

Please clarify.
