Hi All,
I have worked from 2002 to 2008 under the NOC code 1111 for which i want to apply now. But from 2009 present i am working in a different field. Can you please guide me whether i am eligible or not for such an old experience.
Also for how many previous years the experience would be calculated.

For FSW, any work experience in the last 10 years counts. So anything before 2006 would not count. Also consider that it may be more difficult to obtain reference letters for jobs that you have done long ago.

Any reasons why you can't use your current / more recent experience? Are you planning on not mentioning this at all?

Your post isn't clear. If you're concerned about validity of your work experience circa 2002-2008, then refer to Dexmoody's post above. But if you're concerned about whether all your past experiences need to be within a specific NOC, then no, it can be spread over multiple NOC's, provided they all are within skill type 0, A and B. If you can get LORs and/or other documentation for your 2009-present work experience, and if this experience is within NOC skill type 0, A or B, then you can claim the max work skills transferability points.
