Previous visa rejection from a different country will cause a problem?

I have had my visa rejected by Ireland once due to improper documentation(Which led to Visa officer concluding that I don't have enough finances). I'll mention this when I apply for Study Permit in Canada.

Will this become an issue ? I'm really worried.
