I have got ITA for Canada express PR. I have a query regarding previous experience.

My previous job experience was in India (from 2011 to 2015). I want to know what is the requirement in terms of experience letter from previous employer.

1. Does it need to as descriptive as getting details of work hours/salary. The current one I have only mentions my designation and job responsibilities.
2. It was issued in 2015 when I left the organization. Do I need to get it reissued again so that it should be less than 6 months old?

I will be able to get all the necessary details (work hours/salary/job description etc etc) for my current role (which is for past 2 years). The concern is only for experience letter from previous employer.

If it's a hassle to get reference letter for past employer, don't include it in work history, and only in personal history Post-ITA.
Only consequence of it is that you'll only get points for 2 years of XP instead of 3 years.

If you want to include old position, a letter issued after you left the company is valid forever, no matter how old it is. But there is no guarantee officer will accept it with just designation and job responsibilities. Therefore, upon examination of your application, officer may deduct points for those work experience if he/she isn't satisfied with letter content. But you'll still be left with the latest work experience (2 years). So you can give it a try.

1. The reference letter should have details like Work hours, salary, from / to dates and job responsibilities.
2. If the reference letter was issued when you left organization, you can use it.
