Prev IELTS score was much higher. Shall I send its copy with the new one?

Hi everyone,
My previous IELTS score (which is still valid but more than a year old) is 8.5.
However my latest score is 7.0.
Do you suggest I include the copy of previous result one with the original of my most recent result?
Will it have any affect on the assessing officer's impression?

You IELTs cannot be older than 1 year from the date of your application to CIO to be valid. So you can try sending both, but I would think that CIC is going to accept the valid one.
