OHIP doesn't cover prescription drugs.

However you may qualify for the Ontario Drug Benefit program if you are a senior, on social assistance and/or make little to no income. You can find out more about this program here and what it takes to qualify:

You should go to a family doctor or walk in clinic if you feel you need these prescription medications. Note that they likely won't just give you the prescription right away if they haven't seen you before and don't know your history. They will have to take your history down and assess you to verify you have a need for these medications.

your reply is quite helpful and yes i know that prescription drugs are not coveree by OHIP infact no drugs are covered by ohip
