I have a Masters degree from Ontario, and since the OINP Masters Graduate Stream closed last week, I created an EE profile as I have 481 points and could expect an ITA sooner or later. I just want to know if I need to make any preparations or gather any documents in advance so that I can submit everything within the 60 days of receiving the ITA? Something like a police certificate, etc.?

As your CRS scores, you chance likely to get an invitation to apply PR shortly, so I would suggest start to gather all requirements documents, once you get ITA so you can submit application straight away.

Please see checklist from the link below,

Police certificates, reference letters from employers, proof of funds (if applying thro FSW), confirmation of employment letter (if applicable), passports (for sending scanned copies), FBI certificate (if applicable), marriage certificate & childrens birth certificates (if applicable). Others may add to the list.

Scanned ECA report, if you claimed a foreign degree. your Canadian degree and transcript.

Possibly translations of any foreign documents you need to submit that are not in either English or French.

What police certificates exactly? I'm already in Canada (and not in another country) so do I still need one? If so, how do I get it?

Rest everything seems manageable pretty fast.

P.S. How do I know if I'm applying under FSW or not?

Job offer is not necessary to get PR in this category, right?

What is FBI certificate??

As part of a complete application, applicants, their spouse or common-law partner and their dependent children 18 years of age or older (including non-accompanying dependants) must submit a valid police certificate for all countries or territories (except Canada) in which they have lived for a total of six months or more, since the age of 18.

You can see the link below whether you eligible for apply PR under FSW category or not,

So how do I get a police certificate from India if I'm currently in Canada?!?

You will need to get police certificates for you and each of your family members who are over 18. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more consecutive months since the age of 18.

In some countries, it can take a long time to get police certificates. If you did not start the process to get them before you were invited to apply, you should do this right away, so you can submit them before the 60 days are up.

You dont need a job offer to apply.

The employment letter is something you need for every job you claim points for. It has to include things like, job title, duties, salary, hours worked, ...

FBI certificate is the police certificate from the US. You need it if you lived for more than 6 months there...see my post above about police certificates.

More than 6 months at a stretch OR cumulative?

Forgot to ask an important question... I have the Masters from Canada itself but I have got BCom/MCom degrees from India.. obviously I'm claiming points only for the Canadian Masters which encompasses all as it's the highest degree... BUT... do I need ECA for the other two degrees when I submit my application after getting ITA? My friend is saying you need to submit ALL education documents post-school.. so I'm confused what is required?

Consecutive, just like it said on what I posted from IRCC website above:

Nope. Your Masters is enough.

You dont need ECA for your foreign degree since your Canadian one is your highest and that is the one that your points are based on.

When you enter the foreign degree, just select no ECA and you will be fine. You will see that as an option in your profile.
