I think the officers asking these questions are the ones with no kids them selves. But I guess everyone has their own understanding of what is a real family. It is the whole thing together, how you wait for the baby, how you prepare for it, is it a real affection! That's why I will send more information to the VO as I did not have it at the time of the application. I just knew that we are waiting for a child but now I already bought a stroller, many clothes, we are looking for the best hospital in my wife's country together. All this is a proof of a genuine relationship, I know because in our case it is

Having a baby just for the seek of getting into Canada, I guess some people will get this low in their moral to do it. Not too sure why, there are countries as "good" economically and socially with easier immigration rules. As for the family planning, well, me and my life we love each other that much that we lost our heads after the wedding

. The baby was not planned, but we are extremely happy to have our little daughter soon with us!!! It all depends on the culture. In Canada family planning is strong, in other countries, is seen as being selfish if you do not want to have kinds young! I know because me and my wife we are in our late twenties both of us and we are really not that young of parents in our country of origin. It is kind of expected to have kids after the marriage. Culture difference with Canada. Officers know that as they deal with it every day.
And finally, for the MP help, I know they can not really do much officially. But here is an real example, a colleague of mine was in the Canadian military at the beginning of his career. When quitting the military, he said that you had to go through a 3-6 months wait time before being released from duty. Many guys, found work already and did not want to wait. What did they do? They went to see their MPs and I do not know how (officially the 3-6 month wait time is mandatory), they all got released from the military within 2 weeks. This is just for brainstorming, I am not saying that this will work with immigration, but as I said in my earlier posts, you never know. Worth talking to the MP and see what he tells. My MP is NDP so she probably hates Immigration Canada ran by a Conservative Minister
