pregnant wife family class application for canada

Hello,I am a Canadian PR and Pakistani national as well. My wife is in Pakistan , we are having the baby in March 2016. I am filling her application forms nowadays. I am in Canada. It is almost done. But I am confused and I have to ask two questions please help me in that.
1. Should I wait for the baby's birth or apply for her immigration now ? Than I need baby's birth certificate and passport as well so at least 4 more months.?
2. I haven't had my wife's the medical examination because it expires after one year. So what should I do is it OK or undergo both mother and baby undergo the medical?

Your wife cannot get her medical now as it includes an x-ray which they will not perform on pregnant women. So I'm not sure how much value there is in pushing your application through right away (before the birth).
