March 27, 2014 Application received by CIC.
Last August 5, the Canadian Embassy - Manila asked for my Passport.
On August 7 I sent them my passport.
Yesterday Nov.4 I received a request letter for Medical.
I am 10 weeks pregnant as of the moment.
I just want to ask, has any if you completed the medical tests needed while pregnant? I'm afraid to undergo X-ray procedure although chest X-ray is less harmful to my abdomen. I was told by St.Lukes Hospital that they will put my result on hold if I won't be able to complete the tests. They asked me to ask my OB first if it's allowed. I can't reach my OB as of the moment, I'm wondering if any pregnant applicants were allowed to finish all required tests?

Thank you. Any response is highly appreciated.

I was in the same situation, my med was done except the X-Rays. They issues me an X-rays differed letter to attach with my file. I attached the letter and after birth of my baby my VO contacted me and asked me for the X-Rays only.

Hi handsup! Thanks for your response. Did you gave birth in Canada? Was your visa issued while still pregnant?

You can't get approved for PR until you've had your x-rays done. So if you don't want to take x-rays due to pregnancy, then the PR application will basically be put on hold for around 9 months until after you deliver.

Yes it puts delay to an extent but it depends upon VO too, depends upon the timeline specific to that region as well

they also know the reason is genuine and after baby birth they contact and ask for X-Rays only... I am asked for my X-rays and baby's med too. But it did not delay my case as I am from the country where timeline is tooo long and now I am also done with my case before the 80% of case processing time.
