First, I’m not sure if it’s the right section to post this. I’m in the process of sponsoring my wife who’s overseas at the moment and we’re hoping that good news will come soon as we’re almost to the one year date since we submitted the application.
Anyhow, I’m trying to ask for advises or tips or leads on things to prepare while she’s there, so we won’t say “ too bad we didn’t know otherwise she could have done that while there…”.
At the moment she’s trying hard to do some driving lessons, she’s got her license since a long time but never had the chance to drive, so she’s taking as many lessons as possible and as budget allows.
Other than that, anything else we should think of in any other aspects as small or big they can be (health, studies, work, family, etc)?
She mentioned for example that maybe it’s a good idea to translate her degree and other documents to English? Or is that not an issue as there might be local free resources here in Canada to do that quickly ?
Any other preparative thoughts? Anything that might help her in work for example or to integrate faster ….
She knows Arabic and French very well.
We’re based in AB.
Thanks in advance.
