I heard the next round of hearing is in September 2012.

It's related to Backloggers litigation.
CIC had informed the court that it'll get back with schedule of processing for the different litigants such as MI1 and the pre-Feb 2008 litigants who'z file has been assessed on July 16 and it has done so.
But CIC has categorically confirmed that it is going to close files of pre-Feb 2008 which haven't been assessed, courtesy Bill C-39.
Already a motion has been filed in the court and await the decision of Justice Barnes in this regard.
