PRC renewal - Lost Passport

Hi I have applied for renewal of my PRC. I had lost the passport that I held for the past years..
I applied giving all the documents i.e. current passport, police report, CBSA report, OHIP records etc.. this was in Nov 2012.
I got a letter now asking for copies of my passport (which was lost)!!
I will be replying AGAIN giving them the police report for the lost passport and other relevant documents...
Any ideas as to how long this process will take??
