PR x Marriage

Hello.
I'm a Mexican Permanent resident in Canada and I'm applying for my citizenship next month.
I've been in a relationship for almost 4 years in which only for the past year and a half had became an actual relationship bc it was virtual before. The fact is I want to get married with her, but I have to major concerns:

She's a temporary resident. Could her status change cause she'd get married to a PR?
Furthermore, Would the marriage somehow not be a good idea due to my oncoming citizenship application?

Hi

Status doesn't change automatically by marrying a PR but once you are married, you will be able to sponsor her for PR as your spouse.

Getting married will not affect your citizenship application.
