Hello everyone,

I'm a permanent resident, I landed in Montreal on April 4th (Quebec Immigrant), I'm planning to head back to my country to work on some studies that would help me to get a better job when I come back here and I'm actually planning to get married with a girl from my country.

I would like to know if there would be any minimum income requirement when I get back to sponsor her ? and can I do it right away once I get back here or I should get a job 1st ?

I know this subject may have popped up a lot here but I see that there are too many law changes

Thanks

Answering my own Question, today I called the CIC and they informed me that " No need for minimum salary, the only condition is not to have any social insurance funds like welfare etc"

No income, but you need to show you will be able to support your family after they get PR. So should include some info on what type of job you expect to get, expected salary, etc.
They basically just want to be assured you will not go on welfare shortly after your spouse arrives.

Thank you very much, and I can apply for that from outside Canada ?

Only Canadian citizens can submit a spousal application and reside outside of Canada. Permanent residents must reside n Canada to submit a spousal application.
