PR RETURNING TO CANADA FOM INDIA WITHOUT PR CARD

Hi,
I am a Canadian PR currently living in the US. We completed my landing in 2019 however we haven't been able to move due to some personal crisis and the pandemic. And hence I do not have my PR card. I need to go to India now for a few months. Will it be possible for me to move to Canada as a PR from India directly? What are the steps I need to take?

Yes - you can do that. You'll need to apply for a PRTD.

Yes - you can apply without having spent even one day in Canada.

IRCC will not help you with the application. If you want help with the PRTD process, you need to hire an immigration lawyer or consultant to help you.

Can you explain what you meant by "without having stayed in Canada even one day"? You said in the OP that you landed in 2019. How did you land without making it to Canada?

OP was in the US. So soft landed and then turned around and returned immediately to the US without spending a full day in Canada.
