PR renewal during Citizenship application In-progress

Hi everyone,

I have one question. I have applied Citizenship also passed the written exam. My Citizenship application is in-Progress. My PR card is expiring in November. Should I need to renew my PR card or can i stay with expired PR card during Citizenship applied status. Please advise.

If you do not intend to travel before your oath ceremony, no need to apply for a new PR card. The expired card can be used during the ceremony. However if you are travelling during the application process and the card is expiring in less than 6 months, then I would recommend that you renew it.
