Pr refusal reconsideration

Hi,
My or was rejected in 2023 due to spousal criminal inadmissibility. We applied for judicial review for which we have not got the result yet. As our work permit expired in June 2024, we applied for the criminal rehabilitation and it got approved in October. Our work permit extension is still in process. My question is as the reason for pr refusal is resolved now. Can I ask for reconsideration from the same visa officer even when judicial review is in process?
And will it effect the decision for work permit

I don't think they will consider it. Reconsideration is something you need to do right after the application was refused, not a year later. Plus you have JR in progress. Additionally, it sounds like your application was correctly refused for criminal inadmissibility reasons.
