PR qualifying days

Hi

I have Permanent Resident status and will be moving to Canada with my husband (who also has PR status) in spring next year.

It is probable that I will not attain the required number of days (2 years out of 5) to maintain my PR status due to traveling outside of Canada for work purposes. What are my options to keep PR status?

• Can I extend my PR status?
• Can my husband sponsor me? as he will be able to get the 2 years out of 5
  • Do I have to apply again in my own right for PR status?
