Hi Folks,

Need some advice and guidance please. I am a professional currently in British Columbia (less than an year) on an Open WP. My spouse is on closed WP with LMIA. We are looking for PR pathways. Under BC PNP Skilled/Tech stream we need employer documents to support the application. However my company has refused to provide the support. We don't have the best scores given the age/education combination.

I understand there is an option of pursuing studies and then going for PGWP which would help secure more points and provincial nomination; however it might mean break from work for one of us and a rather long drawn process.

What are any other PR pathways we can pursue given this situation? Any guidance and pointers are hugely appreciated.

Research other PNP programs. Based on your limited information, don’t know. Do you have EE profile with your wife as main applicant? What is your score? Learn French.
