My son Pr card will expire in 9 months, it's only 3 months he is in Canada...he was out of Canada for 4 years. Now he wants to sponsor his wife and child from Canada.Can he sponsor them...Will CIC not object as he was not in Canada and did not fulfill the days required for PR to be valid...
As anyone experienced like this..plz help

No - he has to have obliged with his residency obligations before he can sponsor his family.

CIC will in fact object.

As said above, he cannot sponsor his wife or child at this time. He needs to be living in Canada in order to sponsor them and must also meet the residency requirement at the time he submits the sponsorship application. He will need to wait until he has lived in Canada for two years before he will be able to successfully sponsor them. If he submits the application before he meets RO, the sponsorship application will be refused and he also risks IRCC revoking his PR status for failing to meet the residency obligation.
