PR Issue and Timeline

Dear All,
After the medicals are sent, is there an option to go to the Local office in person (Detroit) for visa stamping instead of sending the passports by post.

Also, once the PR is issued, is there a minimum timeframe within which we need to enter Canada?

Bro,

This is something which has been dealt over-n-over again.

1. Visa in person: YES, u can go to Detroit & obtain the stamping personally. Many did it. However, u'll need to check 2 things: 1)Your PPR letter says so or not; 2)If yes, u need to contact Detroit & ask for an appointment.

2. Minimum timeframe to 'land': NIL, u can land the very same day of your stamping. However, there's a maximum timeframe though -u already know that. U can land 'on' or 'before' your visa expires.
